BuiltLeads is operated by SDJE Media (“we”, “us”), trading as BuiltLeads, from Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us and a small amount of technical data:

• Enquiries: when you use our contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number (optional), business name, the service you are interested in and any message you write.
• Bookings: when you book a strategy call, we collect your name, email, phone (optional), company, topic, notes, the time you choose and your time zone.
• Chat: if you use the website chat and leave a message, we collect your name, email, optional phone and what you tell us. Questions you type into the chat are processed in your browser; if AI replies are switched on, your question may also be sent to our AI provider to generate an answer.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic device and browser information, held in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

How we use your information

We use it to respond to your enquiry, schedule and run your call, send you booking confirmations and calendar invitations, provide and improve our services, keep our records, and protect the website from spam and misuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing or follow-up emails if you have agreed to receive them. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also email us at any time to stop.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses a small amount of browser storage so that features such as the chat window and your chosen time zone work smoothly during your visit. If we add analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel) in future, we will describe them here and give you a choice before they run. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when they do.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our web hosting and email providers and, if enabled, our AI and CRM providers. They may process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Storage, security and retention

Enquiries and bookings are stored on our hosting and in our email inboxes, protected by access controls and server-side validation. We keep information only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, provide our services or meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. No online system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the forms or chat.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing stefan@builtleads.com.au. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its revised date.
